KANE

The innovative Christopher Kane comes up with yet another incredible collection. I remember being completely mesmerized with his Galaxy Collection from 2011. For a solid couple of the months, the Internet was saturated with images that were both directly pulled from his collection, or at least heavily inspired by the starry and sparkling patterns. His pre SS2012 collection once again embodies mass marketing potential.

Although there are no galaxy patterns in sight, this collection is just as loud, just as intriguing, and just as fabulous. Being an avid lover of all that is bright and colourful, I'm totally impressed with this collection (not that disappointment from a Kane collection would be likely). I don't know about you, but some of these pieces just scream "Pink Floyd", getting their inspiration directly from the science behind the "prism and white light" experiment. The inspiration seems to be very 60s retro, with a hint of an exploding box of crayons. Creativity at its finest. It would definitely take someone willing to be noticed to pull this look off.
